Youth from 1st grade to 12th grade serve at the altar. Acolytes are presented service crosses to use that accumulate beads for the four levels of service. High School Graduates are presented their crosses to take with them.
Youth must be 16 years of age for this ministry in which "Bearers" pass the cup (chalice) to individuals at the altar rail during our service of Communion.
High School Youth who read one of the weekly lessons from the Hebrew texts or The New Testament
Interested youth are regularly scheduled during quarterly intervals
Children ages 3 yrs - 5th grade leave from the 10:30 Sunday service to participate in an age-appropriate service that includes age level songs, readings, and teaching. The congregation sings and welcomes them back just prior to the Passing of the Peace so that all participate in the Holy Communion portion of the service.
Clipboards with seasonal formation art materials are provided at each entrance into the church for age appropriate participation & learning during the service
Baptised persons: Infants and older are invited and welcome to receive Communion. Instruction for children about Communion is available, not required, upon request and through our Education program
