“The master in the art of living makes little distinction between work and play…” and so it is true for Jeannie McCabe. She joined the St. John's staff and Fort Smith in January 2006. Sharing the Good News of God's love and Kingdom living is her lifetime endeavor. Jeannie has served youth for the past 25+ years in volunteer and employment positions. More recent responsibilities include facilitating formation of small groups offering the congregation opportunities to build friendships and serve the community.
Vickie came to St. John's as an Administrative Assistant in September of 2007. She has over 30 years office experience in the Ft. Smith area. Vickie has two children, a son and a daughter. She enjoys spending free time with family and friends.
Harold is retired from a career in production and financial management. He worked a number of years in furniture manufacturing, mortgage loan servicing, retiring as Controller for a law firm in 1997. Harold served three years as an Engineering Officer aboard a heavy cruiser in the early ‘50's. He, and his wife, Barbara, have three children, and four grandchildren. Part-time work at St. John’s allows time for travel, gardening, cycling, and fitness center. Best of all, Harold says, “I am in contact with some very nice and caring people."
Gordon Albritton was born February 2, 1954 in Conway, Arkansas. He graduated from Northside High School in 1972. Upon graduation from Northside he went into the Air Force, got out, and has been living in Fort Smith now for 30 plus years. Mr. Albritton started working here at St. John’s Episcopal Church on May 21, 1997. He is also a deacon at King Solomon Christian Church and his hobbies are fishing and umpiring softball.
